ENGINE UNIT GENERAL GENERAL
OUTLINE
The 1KR-FE engine is a DOHC 12-valve, 1.0-liter, in-line 3-cylinder power unit.
This engine uses a Direct Ignition System (DIS), Dual Variable Valve Timing-intelligent (Dual VVT-i) system and Electronic Throttle Control System-intelligent (ETCS-i). It has been developed to realize high performance, quietness, improved economy and clean emissions.
