DESCRIPTION

The lane departure warning camera receives a lane departure alert main switch signal from the lane departure alert main switch (integration control and panel assembly).

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT LANE DEPARTURE ALERT MAIN SWITCH (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY)


    1. Remove the lane departure alert main switch (integration control and panel assembly) Click here.

    2. Inspect the lane departure alert main switch (integration control and panel assembly) Click here.

  2. HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT MAIN SWITCH (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY) - LANE DEPARTURE WARNING CAMERA)


    1. Disconnect the U13 lane departure warning camera connector.

    2. Disconnect the L177 lane departure alert main switch (integration control and panel assembly) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      U13-4 (LKSW) - L177-5 (LDSW) Always Below 1 Ω
      L177-2 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      U13-4 (LKSW) or L177-5 (LDSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
