PROCEDURE
INSTALL TIMING CHAIN CASE OIL SEAL
Apply MP grease to the lip of a new timing chain case oil seal.
Note
Do not allow foreign matter to contact the lip of the timing chain case oil seal.
Do not allow MP grease to contact the dust seal.
Install the timing chain case oil seal to SST.

Set SST and the crankshaft pulley set bolt as shown in the illustration.
Tech Tips
Make sure to leave the crankshaft pulley set bolt screwed into the crankshaft by 2 or 3 threads.
Using SST and the crankshaft pulley set bolt, evenly tap in the timing chain case oil seal until its surface is flush with the end face of the timing chain or belt cover sub-assembly.

Note
Do not tap the timing chain case oil seal at an angle.
Keep the lip free of foreign matter.
INSTALL CRANKSHAFT PULLEY

Align the crankshaft timing gear key with the key groove of the crankshaft pulley, and slide on the crankshaft pulley.
Using SST, install the crankshaft pulley set bolt.
INSTALL CRANKSHAFT DAMPER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Install the crankshaft damper sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

Install the crankshaft pulley cover with the 2 bolts.

Install so the paint mark is facing the front side.
INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
ADD ENGINE OIL
INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL
INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
