DESCRIPTION
When the lane departure warning camera is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). When the country specification information in the lane departure warning camera and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) do not match, DTC C1AA1 is stored.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
When the lane departure warning camera is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the lane departure warning camera beam axis must be performed.
The lane departure alert system uses the CAN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting. Troubleshoot the lane departure alert system after confirming that the communication systems are functioning properly.

ADJUST LANE DEPARTURE WARNING CAMERA
Perform the lane departure warning camera adjustment.

CLEAR DTC
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes / Clear DTCs.
Clear the DTCs.
Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Clear DTCs

CHECK FOR DTC
Perform the following to make sure the DTC detection conditions are met.
Tip:If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
Drive the vehicle at a speed between 50 km/h (32 mph) and 220 km/h (138 mph), and operate the lane departure alert system.
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.
Check for DTCs.
Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Trouble Codes
