NAVIGATION ECU REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (for Radio and Display Type)

  4. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS

    1. Disconnect each connector and remove the wire harness.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET

    1. Remove the 5 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET

    1. Remove the 5 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.

  7. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU

      Detach the 2 guides and remove the navigation ECU as shown in the illustration.

    2. E306828

      Detach the clamp.

    3. Disconnect the connector and remove the antenna cord.
