VACUUM TANK ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSPECT VACUUM SURGE TANK

    A235778N01

    1. Check that air flows from port B to port A.

    2. Apply a vacuum of 60 kPa (450 mmHg, 17.7 in. Hg) to port B. Check that there is no change in vacuum after 1 minute.

      If the operation is not as specified, replace the vacuum surge tank.
