OUTLINE
Lightweight and Highly Rigid Body
High-strength steel is used in order to achieve excellent body rigidity and a lightweight body.
Safety Features
The impact absorbing structure minimizes cabin deformation by effectively helping to absorb the impact energy in the event of a front or side collision. This provides high performance occupant protection.
Rust-resistant Body
Rust-resistant performance is enhanced by the extensive use of anti-corrosion sheet steel, as well as by an anti-corrosion treatment that includes the application of anti-rust wax and sealer to the easily corroded parts such as the edge of the door lower portion, door hinge, fuel filler lid hinge, hemmed portions of the hood panel and each part of the deck.
Low Vibration and Low Noise Body
Effective application of vibration damping and noise suppressant materials reduces engine, wind and road noise.
MAIN FEATURES
Exterior Design
Front View
The front design has been solidified and a vertical flow is used as a basis to add a touch of sophistication to the original sense of pick-up truck-style toughness, thus achieving an image which is both tough and modern.
An inverted trapezoidal shape is used for the radiator grille and radiator lower grille to give the front view a sophisticated expression.
A protruded outer lens makes the image of the vehicle look strong.
A step at the front turn inner lens is provided for a more sporty look.
Rear View
For the rear combination light assembly, a highlighted obi has been placed in the center of the light, taking its coordination with the front design into consideration for a two-part structure. In addition, the hexagonal chamber shape makes the overall appearance stronger.
A Light Emitting Diode (LED) type center stop light assembly with a clear lens is used on the tailgate to ensure visibility when the vehicle is carrying cargo.
A flat type rear bumper is provided as standard equipment in accordance with the grade and specification.

Side View
A side design with a simple, cylindrical form gives the vehicle a powerful and modern look. A unique J-line detail is applied from the rear deck to the front, resulting in a design that portrays originality.
On models with an over fender (front wheel opening extension sub-assembly, rear No. 1 wheel opening extension sub-assembly), the character line of the over fender has been designed to flow backward to give a fluid image.
