SHIFT STROKE SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL SHIFT STROKE SENSOR

    1. Apply MP grease to a new O-ring.

    2. Install the O-ring to the shift stroke sensor.

    3. C274891

      Set the shift stroke senor so that the sensor side and actuator side sensor arms are positioned as shown in the illustration.

    4. Turn the shift stroke sensor clockwise.

    5. Install the 2 screws.

      1.3 N*m

      13 kgf*cm

      12 in.*lbf

    6. Connect the wire harness clamp and shift stroke sensor connector.

  2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER BRACKET

  3. INSTALL FUEL FILTER SUPPORT

  4. CONNECT ENGINE WIRE

    1. Connect the 2 engine wire connectors and 2 clamps.

      Connect the ECM connector and lower the lever.

  5. INSTALL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
