FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER LH (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD)

   1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Component without harness connected (Front Seat Cushion Heater LH (Separate Type Front Seat Cushion Pad))

      Reference Resistance

      Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
      R1-1 - K43-3	Always	Below 1 Ω
      R1-2 - R3-2	Seat heater temperature lower than 40°C (104°F) (Reference value)	2.07 to 2.53 Ω
      R1-2 - R2-5	Always	Below 1 Ω
      R1-4 - R2-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
      R1-5 - R3-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
      K43-1 - R2-4	Always	Below 1 Ω
      K43-2 - R2-3	Always	Below 1 Ω
      K43-4 - R2-2	Always	Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater LH (separate type front seat cushion pad).

2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER RH (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD)

   1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      K42-2 - Q2-3	Always	Below 1 Ω
      K42-4 - Q2-2	Always	Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater RH (separate type front seat cushion pad).
