DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored if the navigation ECU sub-assembly judges that the signals or signal lines between the navigation ECU sub-assembly and the television camera assembly are not normal as a result of its self check.

Note:
  • When "System initializing" is displayed on the navigation ECU sub-assembly after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point (Click here).

  • Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the parking assist monitor system may be needed (Click here).

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY - TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the G49 navigation ECU sub-assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the U6 television camera assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    2. Check the waveform of the television camera assembly using an oscilloscope.

      Tip:

      A waterproof connector is used for the television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the navigation ECU sub-assembly with the connector connected.
