RADIO ANTENNA REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE WITH HOLDER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. for RHD:

      Remove the 2 screws.

    3. for LHD:

      Remove the 2 screws and detach the clamp.

    4. Remove the antenna as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Fully extend the antenna pole before removing the antenna.
