REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.

  • The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH (for Extra Cab)

      Operate the rear seat cushion lock hook release lever and pull up the rear seat cushion assembly LH to detach the hook.

      Detach the 2 hooks and rear seat cushion assembly LH.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH (for Extra Cab)

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Double Cab)

  6. REMOVE QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for Extra Cab)

    1. Remove the bolt and anchor.

    2. A01DZ3N

      Remove the bolt and rear No. 1 seat belt anchor.

    3. Remove quarter inside trim board Click here.

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Double Cab)

    1. Pull the rear seat hinge cover LH to detach the 2 claws.

    2. Pull up the rear seat hinge cover LH to detach the guide and remove the rear seat hinge cover LH.

  8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for Double Cab)

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Put protective tape around the rear door scuff plate LH.

    2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 7 claws and 2 clips, and remove the rear door scuff plate LH.

  9. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM LH (for Double Cab)

  10. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL LOWER LH (for Double Cab)

    1. w/o Rear Center Seat Belt:


      1. Detach the claw and 3 clips and remove the lower quarter trim panel LH.

    2. A01DWZR

      w/ Rear Center Seat Belt:


      1. Detach the claw and 3 clips and remove the lower quarter trim panel LH.

  11. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY OUTER LH

    1. Remove the bolt and floor anchor.

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and open the seat belt anchor cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    3. Remove the bolt.

      Remove the bolt and seat belt.
