    Body ECU

    Receives various signals and turns off the exterior lights.

    H-LP Relay

    Shuts down power to the headlights.

    FR Fog Relay*

    Shuts down power to the front fog lights.

    RR Fog Relay

    Shuts down power to the rear fog light.

    TAIL Relay

    Shuts down power to the taillights, clearance lights and license plate lights.

    Headlight Dimmer Switch Assembly

    • Light Control Switch

    Outputs a light control switch position signal to the body ECU.

  2. SYSTEM CONTROL

    1. The light auto turn-off system operates as follows:

      Function

      Operation Condition

      Headlight or Front Fog Light Auto Turn-off

      When both of the following conditions are met, the headlights or front fog lights* automatically turn off:

      • The ignition switch is turned off.

      • The light control switch is in the tail or head position.

      Exterior Light Auto Turn-off

      When both of the following conditions are met, the exterior lights automatically turn off:

      • The ignition switch is turned off.

      • The light control switch is in the AUTO position.
