PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect the interior light operation.

        *B for RHD

        Connect a positive (+) lead from the auxiliary battery to terminal 11 (+B1) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 15 (GND1) or 6 (CTY).

        If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb or map light assembly.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      6 (CTY) - 7 (DCTY)*1 Interior light door switch ON or OFF 10 kΩ or higher

      16 (CTY) - 7 (DCTY)*2 Interior light door switch ON or OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      Interior light door switch DOOR Below 1 Ω
      15 (GND1) - 7 (DCTY) Interior light door switch DOOR or OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      Interior light door switch ON Below 1 Ω

      • *2: for RHD

      If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly.
