  1. PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, initialize the following system after the cable is reconnected.

  2. PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING GTS


    1. When using the GTS with the power switch off to troubleshoot:

      Connect the GTS to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-second intervals until communication between the GTS and the vehicle begins.

    2. After all DTCs are cleared, check if the trouble occurs again 6 seconds after the power switch is turned on (IG).
