CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

   1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
      1 - 2	Cold	835 to 1400 Ω
      	Hot	1060 to 1645 Ω

      Note:

      In the table above, the terms "Cold" and "Hot" refer to the temperature of the camshaft position sensor. "Cold" means approximately -10 to 50°C (14 to 122°F). "Hot" means approximately 50 to 100°C (122 to 212°F).

      If the result is not as specified, replace the camshaft position sensor.
