AIR PUMP INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL AIR PUMP ASSEMBLY

    1. A274341C01

      Air Pump Assembly

      Air Pump Bracket

      Attach the 3 fittings of the air pump insulator to install the air pump to the bracket.

    2. Attach the 2 air pump connector clamps.

    3. Install the air pump with bracket with the 3 bolts.

      20 N*m

      204 kgf*cm

      15 ft.*lbf

    4. Connect the air pump connector and attach the wire harness clamp.

  2. CONNECT NO. 4 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE

      Upper Side

      Connect the No. 4 air injection system hose so that its paint mark aligns with the rib of the air pump as shown in the illustration.

      Tip:

      • Make sure the paint mark of the No. 4 air injection system hose is facing upward.

      • Make sure the direction of the hose clamp is as shown in the illustration.

  3. INSTALL AIR PUMP COVER (w/ Air Pump Heater)

    1. A273789E03

      Attach the 3 claws to install the air pump cover.

      Tip:

      Make sure the inlet of the air pump cover is oriented correctly and completely attached when installing the air pump cover.
