LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

Tip:

The lane departure alert system operates using systems shared with the pre-collision system. When a malfunction is detected in the pre-collision system, a malfunction also occurs in the lane departure alert system.

  2. FUNCTION OF WARNING INDICATOR

    1. Initial check

      1. Turn the ignition switch off. Wait for at least 2 seconds, and then turn the ignition switch to ON. Lane departure alert system diagnosis is performed for approximately 5 seconds.

        Lane Departure Alert Indicator Light (Yellow)

        If the initial check discovers a malfunction, the lane departure alert indicator light (yellow) in the combination meter assembly illuminates approximately 5 seconds after the initial check is complete.

        Tip:

        The lane departure alert indicator light (yellow) illuminates when a malfunction in the lane departure alert system is detected and a DTC is output.
