REAR BUMPER(for Sedan) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  2. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

  3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER


    1. A004RVL

      Remove the clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the other side.

      Remove the 8 clips.

      *a Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the rear bumper cover.

    4. Remove the 2 screws.

      A004NL4E01

    5. Detach the 18 claws and remove the rear bumper cover.

      Tech Tips

      Pull up the claws labeled A in the illustration.

    6. Remove the protective tape.

  4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 1 REINFORCEMENT


    1. A004NSQ

      Remove the 8 bolts and rear bumper No. 1 reinforcement.

  5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A004NYN

      Remove the 3 bolts and rear bumper arm sub-assembly LH.

  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH

      *1 Grommet

      Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, remove the grommet.

    2. Remove the nut.

    3. Remove the 3 clips and rear bumper side seal LH.

  8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH

      Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, remove the grommet.

    2. Remove the nut.

    3. Remove the 2 clips and rear bumper side seal RH.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      *1 Rear Bumper Bracket

      Remove the rear bumper bracket.

    2. Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Detach the 3 claws and remove the rear bumper side retainer LH.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE RETAINER LH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 3 claws and remove the rear bumper No. 2 side retainer LH.

  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER LH


    1. A004SX5

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper upper retainer LH.

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER RH
