WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (for Non-built-in Type Door Control Receiver) No Answer-Back

DESCRIPTION

In this case, wireless control functions are normal but the hazard warning light and side turn signal light answer-back is not normal (the driver side junction block assembly's turn signal flasher assembly output may be malfunctioning).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HAZARD WARNING LIGHT OPERATION


    1. Check that the hazard warning lights and side turn signal lights flash when the hazard warning signal switch is pressed.

      OK
      Hazard warning lights flash when hazard warning signal switch is pressed.

    Go to LIGHTING SYSTEM Click here

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK - TURN SIGNAL FLASHER)


    1. Disconnect the 2O driver side junction block assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the T22 turn signal flasher assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      2O-25 (HAZ) - T22-8 (HAZ) Always Below 1 Ω
      2O-25 (HAZ) or T22-8 (HAZ) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
