DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored if the rear television camera assembly receives a signal via CAN communication from the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly that indicates an internal malfunction.

  • Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the parking assist monitor system may be needed.

  • When "!" is displayed on the multi-display assembly after the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT


    1. Clear the DTCs.


      Chassis > IPA/Parking Assist Monitor > Clear DTCs

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.


      Chassis > IPA/Parking Assist Monitor > Trouble Codes

  2. REPLACE SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly with a new or known good one.
