  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    1. The wiper and washer system consists of the following parts:

      Function

      Windshield Wiper Switch Assembly

      Outputs the position signal of the windshield wiper switch assembly to the front wiper motor and link assembly, rear wiper motor assembly and windshield washer motor and pump assembly.

      Front Wiper Motor and Link Assembly

      Activates the front wipers in accordance with the position signal of the front wiper switch on the windshield wiper switch assembly.

      Rear Wiper Motor Assembly

      Activates the rear wiper in accordance with the position signal of the rear wiper switch on the windshield wiper switch assembly.

      Windshield Washer Motor and Pump Assembly

      Activates in accordance with the signal from the washer switch (windshield wiper switch assembly).

      Rear Washer Motor and Pump Assembly

  2. FUNCTION

    1. Washer-linked Wiper Function (Front Wiper System Only)

      1. When the wiper switch (windshield wiper switch assembly) is turned to OFF and the washer switch (windshield wiper switch assembly) is turned on, washer fluid is sprayed and after approximately 0.5 seconds the wipers start operating in LO.

      2. The wipers operate 3 times in LO after the washer switch (windshield wiper switch assembly) is turned off.
