Use these procedures to troubleshoot the lane departure alert system.

INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Measure the battery voltage with ignition switch off.
Standard voltage
11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding to the next step.

CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*
Check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

CHECK FOR DTC*
Clear the DTCs.
Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Clear DTCs
Recheck for DTCs. Based on the DTCs output in the first step, try to reproduce the lane departure alert system DTCs by simulating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.
