PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM UTILITY
If "Pre-collision City Sensor Optical Axis Learning" is not performed, all systems using the pre-collision city sensor may be affected.
If the pre-collision city sensor has been replaced, or the windshield glass has been replaced or removed/installed, be sure to perform Pre-collision City Sensor Optical Axis Learning.
Tip:Pre-collision City Sensor Optical Axis Learning can be performed by using either One Time Recognition or Sequential Recognition.

When replacing the windshield glass of a vehicle equipped with a pre-collision city sensor, make sure to use a Toyota genuine part. If a non-Toyota genuine part is used, the pre-collision city sensor may not be able to be installed due to a missing bracket or the pre-collision system may not operate properly due to a difference in the transmissivity or black ceramic border.
The pre-collision city sensor recognizes the white lines in relation to the vehicle on the basis of coordinates derived from the traveling direction of the vehicle. These coordinates differ for each vehicle depending on the tolerance and installation position of the pre-collision city sensor. Therefore, pre-collision city sensor optical axis learning must be performed individually for each vehicle.
RECOGNITION CAMERA/TARGET POSITION MEMORY
Before performing "Recognition Camera Axis Adjust", store the recognition camera position information, target position information and vehicle information in the pre-collision city sensor.

RECOGNITION CAMERA AXIS ADJUST
After performing the "Recognition Camera/Target Position Memory", further calibrate the stored data.

Tip:Since there is a margin of error in the internal data derived from the stored pre-collision city sensor position (horizontal and vertical coordinates, etc.), calibrating the internal data stored in the pre-collision city sensor improves the recognition sensitivity of the pre-collision city sensor.

ENTER CONTROL MODE
When reproducing problem symptoms of the pre-collision system, do not attempt to operate the pre-collision brake control, only operate the pre-collision alarm control.

Control Mode
Tip:When reproducing problem symptoms of the pre-collision system, actually operating the pre-collision brake control would be dangerous. To avoid this, when triggering operation of the pre-collision system, do not operate the pre-collision brake control, only operate the pre-collision alarm control.
HISTORY CLEAR
If the history data status is "Yes", clear the history.
