When the power switch is on (IG) and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, a communication error between the skid control ECU assembly and the hybrid vehicle control ECU is detected for approximately 2.72 seconds or more.

While the vehicle speed is 36 km/h (22 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, a communication error between the yaw rate sensor and the driving support ECU assembly is detected fo rapproximately 0.72 seconds or more.

  • Condition 1:

  • While the vehicle speed is 36 km/h (22 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, a communication error between the driving support ECU assembly and hybrid vehicle control ECU is detected for 0.92 seconds or more.

  • Condition 2:

  • While the vehicle speed is 36 km/h (22 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, a communication error between the driving support ECU assembly and the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly is detected for approximately 0.144 seconds.

  • Condition 1:

  • CAN communication system

  • Hybrid vehicle control ECU

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (RADAR CRUISE1 AND RADAR CRUISE2)

    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Powertrain > Radar Cruise1 > Clear DTCs

      Powertrain > Radar Cruise2 > Clear DTCs

    2. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tip:

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

      2. Turn the dynamic radar cruise control system on using the cruise control main switch (ON/OFF button).

      3. Drive the vehicle at 36 km/h (22 mph) or more for 5 seconds or more.

    3. Check the DTCs.
