AIR COOLED OIL COOLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  2. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

  3. DRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

  5. REMOVE OIL COOLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Slide the clips and remove the No. 2 oil cooler inlet hose, No. 2 oil cooler outlet hose and No. 1 oil cooler inlet hose.

    2. Disconnect the hose clamp.

    3. Slide the clip and disconnect the oil cooler hose assembly.

      Remove the 2 bolts and oil cooler tube sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER AIR DUCT

    1. C302915

      Remove the 2 bolts and transmission oil cooler air duct.

  7. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

    1. C302912

      Disconnect the hose clamp.

    2. Slide the clip and remove the oil cooler hose assembly.

    3. C302913

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 oil cooler bracket.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts and oil cooler assembly.

    5. C278141

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 oil cooler bracket.
