  1. CUSTOMIZE LIGHTING SYSTEM (INT)

    Note


    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

    Tech Tips

    The following items can be customized.


    1. Customizing using the GTS


      1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      3. Turn the GTS on.

      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Illuminated Entry.

      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Changes the lighting time of the following lights that are operated by the timer function when the door linked switch of the map light (roof console box sub-assembly) is on:


        • Ignition key cylinder light (Transponder key coil)*1

        • Footwell light (No. 1 interior illumination light assembly)*3

        • Front door inside handle illumination light (No. 1 interior illumination light assembly)*4

        • Instrument panel ambient illumination light (Instrument panel light assembly)*6

        I/L when ACC OFF

        Turns off the following lights automatically when the door linked switch of the map light (roof console box sub-assembly) is on and the ignition switch is turned from ON or ACC to off:


        • Ignition key cylinder light (Transponder key coil)*1

        • Map light (Roof console box sub-assembly)

        • Spot light assembly

        • Footwell light (No. 1 interior illumination light assembly)*3

        • Front door inside handle illumination light (No. 1 interior illumination light assembly)*4

        • Rear door inside handle illumination light (No. 2 interior illumination light assembly)*5

        • Instrument panel ambient illumination light (Instrument panel light assembly)*6

        		 ON 0:OFF,1:ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        I/L ON W/Door Key Unlock

        Lights up the following lights automatically when the door linked switch of the map light (roof console box sub-assembly) is on and the doors are unlocked by an unlock operation:


        • Ignition key cylinder light (Transponder key coil)*1

        • Map light (Roof console box sub-assembly)

        • Spot light assembly

        • Footwell light (No. 1 interior illumination light assembly)*3

        • Front door inside handle illumination light (No. 1 interior illumination light assembly)*4

        • Rear door inside handle illumination light (No. 2 interior illumination light assembly)*5

        • Instrument panel ambient illumination light (Instrument panel light assembly)*6

        Room Light when Aprchd

        Lights up the following lights when the door linked switch of the map light (roof console box sub-assembly) is on and the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is brought near the vehicle*2:


        • Map light (Roof console box sub-assembly)

        • Footwell light (No. 1 interior illumination light assembly)*3

        • Front door inside handle illumination light (No. 1 interior illumination light assembly)*4

        • Rear door inside handle illumination light (No. 2 interior illumination light assembly)*5

        Inside Foot Light

        Turns on the following lights:

        Dims the following lights when the ignition switch is ON and the shift lever is moved to any position other than P:

    2. Customizing with the multi-display


      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      2. Enter the following menus: MENU / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Lights Settings.

      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
