ROOM LIGHT INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect the rear dome light.

        Component without harness connected

        (No. 1 Room Light Assembly)

        Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check that the rear map light comes on.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 1 (B)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 5 (GND1)

        		 Rear dome light switch on Rear dome light comes on

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 1 (B)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 4 (CTY)

        		 Rear dome light switch off Rear dome light comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 1 room light assembly.

    2. Inspect the switch illumination.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check that the switch illumination comes on.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 2 (ILLB)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 5 (GND1)

        		 Always Switch illumination comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 1 room light assembly.
