МАСЛЯНЫЙ НАСОС ПРОВЕРКА

  1. REMOVE OIL PUMP RELIEF VALVE

    B007ULEE01

    1. Remove the plug and gasket.

    2. Remove the plug, gasket, spring and relief valve from the timing gear case.

  2. INSPECT OIL PUMP RELIEF VALVE

    B007W53E01

    1. Coat the relief valve with engine oil and drop it into the relief vale hole.

    2. Check that the relief valve falls in smoothly by its own weight.

If it does not, replace the relief valve. If necessary, replace the timing gear case.

  3. INSPECT OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY

    B007S3GE01

    1. Install the driven rotor into the timing gear case with the mark facing the cylinder block side.

    2. B007RHAE01

      Check the tip clearance.

      1. Using a feeler gauge, measure the clearance between the drive and driven rotor tips.

        Tip clearance
        Specification Clearance
        Standard 0.060 to 0.160 mm (0.0024 to 0.0063 in.)
        Maximum 0.21 mm (0.0083 in.)

If the tip clearance is greater than the maximum, replace the driven rotor and gear case with new ones.

    3. B007RREE01

      Check the body clearance.

      1. Using a feeler gauge, measure the clearance between the oil pump body and driven rotor.

        Body clearance
        Specification Clearance
        Standard 0.100 to 0.170 mm (0.0039 to 0.0066 in.)
        Maximum 0.20 mm (0.0078 in.)

If the body clearance is greater than the maximum, replace the driven rotor and gear case with new ones.

    4. B007PMOE01

      Check the side clearance.

      1. Using a feeler gauge and precision straightedge, measure the clearance between the rotor and precision straightedge.

        Side clearance
        Specification Clearance
        Standard 0.030 to 0.090 mm (0.0012 to 0.0036 in.)
        Maximum 0.15 mm (0.0059 in.)

If the side clearance is greater than the maximum, replace the driven rotor and gear case with new ones.

  4. INSTALL OIL PUMP RELIEF VALVE

    B007ULEE01

    1. Install the relief valve and spring to the timing gear case.

    2. Install a new gasket and the plug to the timing gear case.
