CIGARETTE LIGHTER(for Sedan) REMOVAL

  1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)

  3. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE BEZEL (for CVT)

  4. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER COVER

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the cigarette lighter cover.

  8. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the cigarette lighter knob and element assembly.

      Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

      Note:

      Make sure to insert the screwdriver into the slit.

    3. With the screwdriver inserted, push out the cigarette lighter socket and retainer assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Align the cigarette lighter socket and retainer assembly with the 3 notches on the cigarette lighter bezel stay and remove the cigarette lighter socket and retainer assembly.

  9. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER BEZEL STAY

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the cigarette lighter bezel stay.
