DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls operation of the light cut relay in order to supply power to the interior lights.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT LIGHT CUT RELAY


    1. Remove the light cut relay.

    2. Inspect the light cut relay Click here


    NG

    REPLACE LIGHT CUT RELAY

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AUXILIARY BATTERY - LIGHT CUT RELAY)


    1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Relay Terminal 5 - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (LIGHT CUT RELAY - EACH LIGHT)
