  1. INSPECT FUEL LID LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Fuel Lid Lock with Motor Assembly)

      Check the operation of the fuel lid lock with motor assembly.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the fuel lid lock with motor assembly connector, and check that the fuel lid lock with motor assembly operates smoothly as follows.

        OK
        Tester Connection Specified Condition

        L74-1 (+B) - Battery positive (+)

        L74-2 (E) - Battery negative (-)

        		 Open Operation

        Tech Tips

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid lock with motor assembly.

      2. Measure the shaft stroke.

        OK
        Area Lock Condition Specified Condition
        A Fuel Lid Close 17.7 mm (0.697 in.)
        Fuel Lid Open 0.0 mm (0 in.)
