ENGINE OIL COOLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN ENGINE OIL

    Click here

  2. REMOVE COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 8 ENGINE WIRE (w/ Canister Pump Module)

      Disengage the clamp to disconnect the wire harness.

    2. B007WWFC01
      *1 No. 8 Engine Wire

      Disengage the clamp to disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    3. Disconnect the 2 No. 8 engine wire connectors.

    4. Disengage the 2 clamps to remove the No. 8 engine wire from the wire harness clamp bracket.

  4. REMOVE NO. 8 ENGINE WIRE (w/o Canister Pump Module)

      Disengage the clamp to disconnect the wire harness.

      *1 No. 8 Engine Wire

      Disconnect the 2 No. 8 engine wire connectors.

    3. Disengage the 2 clamps to remove the No. 8 engine wire from the wire harness clamp bracket.

  5. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY (w/ Canister Pump Module)


    1. B007ZRBC01
      *1 No. 4 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 5 Water By-pass Hose

      Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose from the oil cooler assembly.

    2. B007Z6R

      Remove the 3 bolts and oil cooler assembly from the stiffening crankcase assembly.

    3. Remove the oil cooler gasket from the stiffening crankcase assembly.

    4. B007X7F

      Remove the 2 bolts and wire harness clamp bracket from the oil cooler assembly.

  6. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY (w/o Canister Pump Module)


    1. B007ZLZC01
      *1 No. 4 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 5 Water By-pass Hose

      Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose from the oil cooler assembly.

    2. B007XLR

      Remove the 3 bolts and oil cooler assembly from the stiffening crankcase assembly.

    3. Remove the oil cooler gasket from the stiffening crankcase assembly.

    4. B007XHU

      Remove the 2 bolts and wire harness clamp bracket from the oil cooler assembly.
