THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. A287754

      Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector and disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

    2. Disconnect the 2 clamps.

    3. Slide the clip and disconnect the ventilation hose

    4. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

    1. A155420

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Slide the clip and disconnect the 2 water hoses.

    3. A155419

      Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and throttle body assembly from the intake manifold. (Type A)

    4. A288483

      Remove the 4 bolts and throttle body assembly from the intake manifold. (Type B)

  5. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY GASKET

    1. A287570

      Remove the throttle body gasket from the intake manifold.
