CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL


  1. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

    Note

    Wash brake fluid off immediately if it spills on any painted surface.

  2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Remove the 2 bolts and windshield washer motor and pump assembly.

  3. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

      Slide the clip and separate the clutch reservoir tube.

      Tech Tips

      Use a container to catch the fluid.

    2. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the clutch tube from the clutch master cylinder.

      Push the push rod clevis upward and release it toward the right side of the vehicle.

    4. B007QMS

      Remove the 2 nuts and clutch master cylinder.

  4. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS


    1. B007PKNE01

      Loosen the lock nut and remove the push rod clevis.

    2. Remove the lock nut.

      Tech Tips

      Measure dimension A shown in the illustration so that the measurement can be used as a reference when installing the push rod clevis.
