PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT CLEANER CONTROL RELAY


    1. Disconnect the A44 Headlight cleaner control relay connector.

      Component without harness connected

      (Headlight Cleaner Control Relay)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      6 (PB) - 4 (E) Auxiliary battery voltage applied between terminals 3 (IG) and 2 (H) Below 1 Ω
      Auxiliary battery voltage not applied between terminals 3 (IG) and 2 (H) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight cleaner control relay.
