DESCRIPTION

The No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear corner sensor LH) is installed on the rear bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear corner sensor LH). If the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear corner sensor LH) has an open circuit or other malfunction, it will not function normally.

Note:

If the DTC is output after repairs, turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the TOYOTA parking assist-sensor system on. Then clear the DTC.
