ENGINE UNIT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE WATER BY-PASS HOSE ASSEMBLY

    1. A421813

      Slide the 2 clips and remove the water by-pass hose assembly from the cylinder head sub-assembly and EGR cooler.

  2. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE

  3. REMOVE INJECTOR VIBRATION INSULATOR

    Click here

  4. REMOVE OIL LEVEL GAUGE GUIDE OIL HOSE

    1. A425310

      Slide the 2 clips and remove the oil level gauge guide oil hose from the engine oil level dipstick guide and cylinder head sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 IGNITION COIL

  6. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY

  7. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD (TWC: Catalyst)

    Click here

  8. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

    1. A425311

      Remove the bolt and the wire harness clamp bracket.
