FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Twist the knob counterclockwise and pull it upward to remove it.

  2. REMOVE UPPER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING

    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the position indicator housing.

  3. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR CONTROL PLATE

      Remove the position indicator control plate from the position indicator housing.

  4. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER


    1. Remove the position indicator slide cover together with the No. 2 position indicator slide cover.

    2. Remove the No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the position indicator slide cover.

  5. REMOVE INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the 3 indicator light wire clamps.

    2. Remove the bulb from the position indicator housing.

    3. Disconnect the connector and remove the light wire.

  6. REMOVE LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING

    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws and remove the position indicator housing.

  7. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the shift lock release button and spring.
