WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM FREEZE FRAME DATA


  1. FREEZE FRAME DATA


    1. Whenever a DTC is detected, the windshield wiper motor assembly stores the current vehicle state as Freeze Frame Data.

  2. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Wiper / Trouble Codes.

      Body Electrical > Wiper

      Wipe Area: Between lower reverse position and upper reverse position

      Upper Rev Pos: Upper reverse position

      Wiper Position Displays the wiper position Store Are, Exchange Position or Wipe Area

      Store Area: Lower reverse position

      Exchange Position: Service position

      Wipe Area: Lower reverse position higher or upper reverse position or less

      Status of Motor Lock Windshield wiper motor assembly stuck malfunction condition Normal or Lock

      Normal: Normal operation possible

      Lock: Operation unavailable

      Status of Temperature Protection Condition of temperature protection control for the windshield wiper motor assembly Normal, LO Operation, INT Operation or Stop

      Normal: Motor temperature less than 95°C (203°F)

      LO Operation: Motor temperature 95°C (203°F) or more

      INT Operation: Motor temperature 100°C (212°F) or more

      Stop: Motor temperature 105°C (221°F) or more
