ENGINE OIL COOLER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the wire harness clamp bracket to the oil cooler assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

   2. Install a new oil cooler gasket to the stiffening crankcase assembly.

   3. Install the oil cooler assembly to the stiffening crankcase assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:

      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

   4. Connect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose to the oil cooler assembly, and slide the 2 clips to secure them.

2. INSTALL NO. 8 ENGINE WIRE (w/ Canister Pump Module)

   
   

   1. Engage the 2 clamps and install the No. 8 engine wire to the wire harness clamp bracket.

   2. Connect the 2 No. 8 engine wire connectors.

   3. Engage the clamp to connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

   4. Engage the clamp to connect the wire harness.

3. INSTALL NO. 8 ENGINE WIRE (w/o Canister Pump Module)

   
   

   1. Engage the 2 clamps and install the No. 8 engine wire to the wire harness clamp bracket.

   2. Connect the 2 No. 8 engine wire connectors.

   3. Engage the clamp to connect the wire harness.

4. INSTALL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY

5. ADD ENGINE OIL

   Click here

6. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL

   Click here

7. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
