DESCRIPTION
If a door glass or a door window regulator assembly does not operate smoothly, the jam protection function may be triggered automatically, resulting in the auto up function being unable to fully close the window.
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
If a door window regulator assembly has been replaced with a new one, initialize the power window control system.
If a door window regulator assembly has been removed and installed, or if a door window regulator assembly was reused when a door glass or door glass run was replaced, initialize the power window control system.
This symptom may occur for any of the windows.
PROCEDURE
PERFORM INITIALIZATION (APPLICABLE LOCATION)
Initialize the door window regulator assembly (applicable location).

CHECK POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM (AUTO UP/DOWN FUNCTION (APPLICABLE LOCATION))
Check that each power windows moves when the auto up and down function of the power window regulator master switch assembly, power window regulator switch assembly or rear power window regulator switch assembly is operated.
OK
Auto up and down function is normal (applicable location).

CHECK WINDOW GLASS SLIDING MOVEMENT (APPLICABLE LOCATION)
Remove the window regulator.
Install the window glass to the door glass run.
Check if the door window regulator operates smoothly.
Check that the window glass slides smoothly when sliding it up by hand.
CAUTION:Perform initialization again.
Tip:Ensure the following:
The window glass fits with the glass run without improper contact or deformation.
Foreign matter is not caught in the glass run.
