ROOM LIGHT INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Sliding roof)

   
   

   1. Inspect the spot light assembly.

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Spot Light Assembly)

         Inspect rear dome light.

         Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition N3-6 (B) - Battery positive (+) N3-1 (E1) - Battery negative (-) Dome light switch ON Dome light illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.

      2. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Spot Light Assembly)

         Inspect reading light.

         Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition N3-6 (B) - Battery positive (+) N3-7 (E) - Battery negative (-) Reading light switch LH ON Spot light LH illuminates N3-6 (B) - Battery positive (+) N3-8 (E) - Battery negative (-) Reading light switch RH ON Spot light RH illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.

      3. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Spot Light Assembly)

         Inspect switch illumination.

         Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition N3-5 (ILL+) - Battery positive (+) N3-2 (ILL-) - Battery negative (-) Switch illumination illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.

2. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (for Panoramic Moon Roof)

   
   

   1. Inspect the spot light assembly LH.

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Spot Light Assembly LH)

         Inspect rear dome light.

         Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition N25-4 (B) - Battery positive (+) N25-1 (RGND) - Battery negative (-) Dome light switch ON Dome light illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly LH.

      2. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Spot Light Assembly LH)

         Inspect reading light.

         Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition N25-4 (B) - Battery positive (+) N25-5 (E) - Battery negative (-) Reading light switch ON Spot light illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly LH.

      3. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Spot Light Assembly LH)

         Inspect switch illumination.

         Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition N25-3 (ILL+) - Battery positive (+) N25-2 (ILL-) - Battery negative (-) Switch illumination illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly LH.

3. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (for Panoramic Moon Roof)

   
   

   1. Inspect the spot light assembly RH.

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Spot Light Assembly RH)

         Inspect rear dome light.

         Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition N24-4 (B) - Battery positive (+) N24-1 (E) - Battery negative (-) Dome light switch ON Dome light illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly RH.

      2. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Spot Light Assembly RH)

         Inspect reading light.

         Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition N24-4 (B) - Battery positive (+) N24-5 (E) - Battery negative (-) Reading light switch ON Spot light illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly RH.

      3. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Spot Light Assembly RH)

         Inspect switch illumination.

         Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition N24-3 (ILL+) - Battery positive (+) N24-2 (ILL-) - Battery negative (-) Switch illumination illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly RH.
