REAR BUMPER REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A005ENY

      Install the rear bumper arm sub-assembly LH with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 117 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT


    1. A005C20

      Install the No. 1 rear bumper reinforcement with the 8 bolts.

      Torque:
      29 N*m  { 296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A005F2R

      Engage the 2 claws to install the rear bumper side retainer LH.

    2. Install the screw.

      Torque:
      2.0 N*m  { 20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    1. A005E7A

      Engage the 4 claws.

    2. Install the rear bumper side support LH with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      2.0 N*m  { 20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A005AXT

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the reflex reflector assembly LH with the screw.

      Torque:
      2.0 N*m  { 20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf }

  9. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SPOILER PROTECTOR


    1. Clean the rear No. 1 spoiler.


      1. Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the rear No. 1 spoiler.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Remove the release paper from a new rear No. 1 spoiler protector.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      Install the rear No. 1 spoiler protector as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Install the rear No. 1 spoiler protector along the line marked on the rear No. 1 spoiler.

  11. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SPOILER


    1. Engage the 13 guides.

      A005DAU

    2. Install the 13 outside moulding retainers.

    3. Install the rear No. 1 spoiler with the 10 clips.
