DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU assembly receives a pre-crash brake on/off signal from the pre-crash system cancel switch assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (PRE-CRASH SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash 2 / Data List.

    5. Read the display on the GTS.

  2. INSPECT PRE-CRASH SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PRE-CRASH SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY - DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY, BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the L60 driving support ECU assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L108-1 (ECU) - L60-5 (PBSW) Always Below 1 Ω
      L108-1 (ECU) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L108-2 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      L60-25 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
