The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the rear No. 1 seat ouer belt assembly LH removal / installation are shown below.

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:


    • Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the floor anchor of the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH.

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the shoulder anchor of the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH.

      w/o Pretensioner:


      1. Remove the 2 bolts.

      2. Detach the 2 guides and remove the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH.

      w/ Pretensioner:


      1. Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button as shown in the illustration to release the lock and disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.

        Remove the 2 bolts.

      3. Detach the 2 guides and remove the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH.
