THERMOSTAT INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL THERMOSTAT

   
   

   1. 

      Align the jiggle valve with the top of the water inlet to install the jiggle valve.

2. INSTALL WATER INLET

   
   

   1. Install a new gasket to the water inlet.

   2. Temporarily install the water inlet together with the thermostat with the 4 bolts by hand.

   3. Using several steps, uniformly tighten the 4 bolts.

      Tech Tips

      Refer to "SPECIFICATIONS - STANDARD BOLT" for the tightening torque.

3. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

4. INSTALL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY (w/ Air Conditioning System)

5. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

6. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
