  1. IGNITION SWITCH EXPRESSIONS


    1. The type of ignition switch used on this model differs according to the specifications of the vehicle. The expressions listed in the table below are used in this section.

      Expression Ignition Switch (Position) Engine Switch (Condition)
      Ignition Switch off LOCK Off (LOCK)
      Ignition Switch ACC ACC On (ACC)
      Ignition Switch ON ON On (IG)
      Engine Start START On (START)

  2. PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING GTS


    1. When using the GTS with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot:

      Connect the GTS to the vehicle, and turn the courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-second intervals until communication between the GTS and the vehicle begins.

    2. After all DTCs are cleared, check if the trouble occurs again 6 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to ON.
