EXHAUST PIPE REMOVAL
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Wear protective gloves when removing the exhaust pipe.
The exhaust pipe is extremely hot immediately after the engine has stopped.
Confirm that the exhaust pipe has cooled down before removing it.
PROCEDURE
REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER (w/ Cover)
REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER (w/ Cover)
DISCONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR
Disconnect the grommet from the floor panel.

Using SST, loosen the heated oxygen sensor, and then disconnect the heated oxygen sensor by hand.

Note:Do not strike the metal part of the heated oxygen sensor.
Tip:Rotate the heated oxygen sensor counterclockwise to disconnect it from the center exhaust pipe assembly, and record how many times it is rotated.
REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.
Disconnect the 2 exhaust pipe supports and remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly.
Remove the gasket from the center exhaust pipe assembly.
REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 bolts.
Disconnect the 3 exhaust pipe supports and remove the center exhaust pipe assembly.
Remove the gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly.
REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 bolts, 2 compression springs and front exhaust pipe assembly.
Remove the gasket from the exhaust manifold.
