WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM


  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    Headlight ECU Sub-assembly RH Receives signals from the washer switch (windshield wiper switch assembly), and controls the headlight cleaner motor and pump assembly.

    Windshield Wiper Switch Assembly


    • Washer Switch

    		 Sends the washer switch signal to the headlight ECU sub-assembly RH.
    Headlight Cleaner Motor and Pump Assembly Sends washer fluid to the headlight cleaner actuator sub-assembly in accordance with signals from the headlight ECU sub-assembly RH.
    Headlight Cleaner Actuator Sub-assembly LH/RH Sprays washer fluid onto the headlights.
    Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) Sends the headlight low beam illumination signal to the headlight control ECU sub-assembly RH.
    Central Gateway ECU (Network Gateway ECU) Relays data between buses.

      First Time Second Time to Fifth Time Sixth Time and Every Additional Fifth Time
      On Activated Not Activated Activated
